Sam Phillips

Sam is a massive geek, a Wikipedia addict, a table football hustler and Head of Development at Setfire Media. He specialises in managing successful e-commerce projects with a focus on getting things live, working and making money whilst not compromising good code. He draws from a technical background on *nix languages, and was an early pioneer of advanced JavaScript techniques and standards-based design. He is a recent convert to the Ruby on Rails platform.

His interests include information design, music and home recording, 19th-century history (particularly mental health and suicide) and watching The West Wing.
