Setfire was brought in to help create an exciting new ecommerce website for this London-based luxury gifts brand. Since the launch of Kiki James in 2006 Setfire has undertaken a rolling programme of projects to enhance both front end and backend functionality.
Kiki James sells a large range gifts and has complex product options, such as different colours, sizes and paper types. Many of the products can also be personalised. Setfire created a custom product management suite allowing for full management of categories, product options and customisation options. Managing products is really simple, product images are easily uploaded and the website takes care of resizing the images. This makes it easy to add multiple images per product and gives a consistent look across the site.
Search engine traffic is crucial to Kiki James and, we made sure the site was fully search engine friendly. Page titles, headings and text are all easily edited on the main site pages, categories and products. The URLs are keyword rich and the site performs excellently in all search engines.
One of the things we've recently added to the site was geolocation targetting to auto switch currency and text. This means that a visitor from the USA, for example, is automatically detected and the current and shipping options are switched. This has resulted in increased conversion rates from US based visitors.
“What Setfire created was more than just a website, it's the heart of our business and allows us easily update our products, run promotions and special offers, manage orders and most importantly look after our customers.”
