Born in Glasgow and raised in Manchester I've been a geek for most of my life.<\/p>\r\n
I studied Artificial intelligence at university in Birmingham before spending five years as a broadcast and communications engineer for the BBC in Belfast and then back in Birmingham.\r\nI moved back to Manchester in Summer 2007 to be with my fiancee and after a false start or two I found my home at Setfire Media.<\/p>\r\n
Outside of work I love travelling, unicycling and DIY. I also have a great love for animals, with a flat that has literally become a zoo in the past few months with the addition of a hamster, a rabbit, two guinea pigs, three fish, two shrimp and a clam.<\/p>\r\n
