Bhd., (MEASAT), in partnership with Globecast, today announced that BBC Studios, the BBC`s commercial arm, has renewed its agreement to distribute its BBC channels throughout Asia via the MEASAT-3 satellite. “With MEASAT and Globecast, we have found strong and reliable partners for the distribution of BBC channels in Asia,” said Shad Hashmi, SVP, BBC Studios. “MEASAT and Globecast have met our business requirements and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the years to come.” Most importantly, TRX has announced its agreement with BBC Worldwide for the commercial arm of the BBC, the UK`s largest distributor with annual sales of $422 million, to list its entire catalogue of 9,500 titles of about 40,000 hours on TRX and gradually test the sales tool with buyers next year.
